Glendarragh Farm Lavender
This is what we’ve been waiting for! The Glendarragh farm lavender store has just opened at 22 main street, Camden. The store looks, and smells wonderful. They have natural and organic body lotions, as well as aromatherapy, bath, culinary, decorative, garden and herbal lavender goodies. Glendarragh Farm, home of Maine’s first commercial lavender farm, grows more than a dozen varieties of lavender in sweetly fragrant, hand-tended, organically fertilized fields."

Don't be a stick-in-the-mud! March in the mud.
March in the Mud”—The March mud season can be surprisingly fun in Camden. Get out and exercise. Hike those trails! Take a guided eco-tour of our wondrous land preserves, parks, and mountains. At the end of the day, look forward to the warm glow of a fireplace, the soothing depths of a Jacuzzi or whirlpool tub, or a special spa service provided by your inn . Or simply curl up and read a good book—when did you last do that?

Sea smoke magestically swirls around Rockland galleon as Maine temps plummet to -12F

Imagine my surprise as I logged on today, to the popular online British newspaper The Daily Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/ to see Rockland Maine on their front page with a beautiful photo of the galleon ‘Raw Faith’ swirling in sea smoke. Sea smoke appears when very cold air passes over warmer water, causing a type of fog. Such is the magical beauty of Maine! ( photo courtesy daily mail)
